Name: Celeste Marie De'Luain
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Birthday: 18th of March ~ Pisces
Year: Fourth year
House: Barrie House
Hometown: London, England
Description:
Years of dance training have granted Celeste much luck where her body is concerned. Her straight posture and dancers grace, have given her a good walk and strong sitting posture. While dance, also gave her the ideal weight and an amazing flexibility. Celeste can do many things (i.e. cartwheels, splits, back flips, etc) that most would not be able to do under normal circumstances. This proves very useful in subjects like P.E., where she excelled. She is slightly short for her age though, standing at only five, foot, three, declared the ideal height for a woman, but Celeste views it as annoying and her height is a weak spot for her.
Her eyes are a shocking blue and are framed by naturally large eyelashes. Her lips are the right size though they are very pale in colour. She often applies a light layer of red or dark pink lip gloss to them, to make them shine and to give them a strong colour. When she does this it stands out well against her Caucasian (pale) skin and adds to the effect. Celeste's skin does not tan it just burns, so she often avoids the sun or wears high levels of sun protection.
Her hair falls to her shoulders and is dark brown in colour. She has a side fringe, though she sometimes edits it to give herself a straight fringe. Her hair's actual style changes from day to day and while one day she can be seen with it up in a pony-tail another day it can be curled and falling to her shoulders.
Celeste is a bit of a girly-girl and prefers wearing dresses and skirts to most other forms of clothing. Though, in the winter she opts for tight/skinny jeans and jumpers. She often goes for pastille colours, such as pinks, light blues, and yellows.
Personality: Upon first meeting Celeste, she is very shy and finds it difficult to start a conversation. She is a very gentle girl and always puts others before herself. Celeste is quite clumsy and from this is easily embarrassed, it is slightly dangerous to give her plates of books to carry as she will usually slip and fall with them in her hands. It is also dangerous to let her get to close to stairs.
Celeste is a very kind and warm person. She enjoys seeing all the different shapes and sizes people and their personalities come in. She is the kind of person, who you could turn to and would listen to all your problems. She can also be very naive and innocent. She has little understanding of the difference between right and wrong. She uses polite speech and often looks on males as better then females from her upper class raising.
History: Celeste was the youngest child of Marie and David De’Luain. Her parents longed to hold onto their French culture, while living in the richness that was England. So they raised their two children in a traditional French style. Celeste’s family were very rich, so from a young age Celeste was taught to be polite and complacent when she was out at upper class social gatherings.
Celeste's family had never been close. Her father worked all the time, earning more money for their family to keep them in rich society. While her mother grew bored, and had several affairs with different men. Celeste's grandmother raised Celeste after seeing how poorly her mother acted, and decreed her unworthy of a loving family and a daughter. Celeste spent most of her time with her brother and developed a close relationship with him. Even though the two were six years apart they were commonly seen playing together or (as they grew older) simply talking together.
A few weeks after Celeste's sixth birthday, Marie met a wealthy American business man and left the family for him. A few months later, David was sent divorce papers in the post and he sunk into depression. Celeste and Jack worked hard, along with their grandmother to restore the family name (honour) and when their father finally came out of his depression he was simply able to pick up where he left off. This was not enough for Jack, worried his father would slip backwards, Jack worked hard to become more knowledgeable in the arts of business and succeed.
Jack and Celeste went separate ways and Celeste devoted more time into getting to know her fellow students. This earned her a high reputation among them and in the school she developed her taste for drawing, and it has carried her through many rough patches in her life. She just sits down lets all her troubles float away and sketches, paints or draws what she sees.
Roleplay sample: (It’s from a Harry Potter Marauders age RPG)
Remus pushed open the door of the castle and looked about him the sun was shining brightly. It really was a lovely day. He smiled and closed the door. He walked down to the lake, he bag was thrown over his shoulder and he was carrying a few of his books in his arms because he was worried of his bag breaking. He vaguely wished he wasn’t a prefect so he could loosen his tie and take of his robes. It was far to hot for them.
He walked over to the lake and dropped his bag onto the ground along with his books. He sat down and sighed. Going against his better judgment he took of his robes and sat on them but only loosened his tie a little. He smiled happily and turned his face to the sun. It was so lovely and warm on his skin. Normally nearer to the full moon he would avoid the sun preferring the night but today his human side won out and he basked in its warmth.
He reached out and pulled his History of Magic book towards him. He opened the book on the goblin rebellion and began to read. After a few moments he had the desire to throw the book away from him because he couldn’t focus. He sighed it was always too hard to study around the full moon. He lay back on the grass abandoning his attempts to study and just relaxed in the suns warmth.
Remus closed his eyes and just thought gently. He smiled as he thought of the marauders. How many friends would do something illegal for you? He grinned he would do anything for them. If one of them was going to get a fine, or loose his wand because of it, Remus knew that without a second thought he would give up his own wand or pay the fine. He sighed as he thought of the fact that they were putting themselves in danger to be with him at that time. Perhaps them being that loyal was a problem. He remembered all the disgusted faces of the children and family who found out when he was younger.
He heard the wolf silently speaking and tried to focus on what he was saying. He shook his head as he got thoughts of finding food, and a nice cave to sleep in. He blinked curious then called out in his mind. "If I can hear you now can you hear me at the full moon?" Remus could also see the wolf look up and prick up it’s ears. "Yes" it spoke back "But you are as quiet and hard to hear as I am now." It said calmly. Remus blinked that did make sense after all how did Fenrir Greyback still have the craving when he was human and the ability to speak when he was a wolf.
