Name: Ruiza Taisumai
Age: 15
Gender: male
Birthday: 9th of April, 1984
Year: Fourth year
House: Glover
Hometown: Tokyo, Japan
Description: Ruiza has mid length blonde hair with darker streaks of brown and black added in. His face and build is very feminine due to his Japanese heritage. He has one ear pierced as well as his belly button and he has a very lithe frame he's not afraid to show off. He has stunning pale blue eyes that at times can almost seem lilac.
He's often seen wearing a black suit with a frilly almost blouse like shirt with only two buttons done up - showing off the cross necklace he wears. On his lower half he'll either wear a black leather miniskirt with high platform boots (Thigh high) or he'll wear long black tight fitting leather trousers, often with a belt slung around the waist. When wearing trousers he wears high platform shoes.
There's quite a few people who find it hard to believe he's a female. Though his choice in attire being more feminine is more due to his parents having really wanted a girl so he's dressed as a girl often to keep them happy. He loves playing his guitar, electric, custom made jet black in colour, and is most at peace when he's guitaring... he often gets lost in his own world of music.
Personality: Despite how weak he was born and how prone he is to illness, or perhaps because of this Ruiza has a pretty go lucky attitude. He's learnt not to stress about being ill, its just part of his life to him. Yeh its not pleasant but what's the point worrying about it? He often finds worrying about the next time he's gonna be ill just makes him get ill quicker after all. So instead he takes life as it comes, whatever life throws at him.
That's not to say he likes being off school though. He enjoys being around other people, even if he gets bizarre looks due to his dress sense. The looks don't bother him, he likes what he wears. He tries to please people around him, and at times partially tries to fit in. Only partially though, he won't change his dress sense no matter how much he gets paid.He can be a bit shy, but once he warms to you then he's pretty loyal. Sometimes he finds it a bit harder to talk to guys as he is gay.
He also wants to be treated normally, rather then having everyone fuss over him and worry about him even getting a speck of dirt on his hands in case he might fall ill. He doesn't want to be treated forever like a porcelain doll after all. Only people who can get away without getting his irrational temper by treating him like a porcelain doll is his own family, and that's because that's what he's used to and he'd do absolutely anything to make them happy.
History: Ruiza was born two months early. He wasn't expected to live beyond his first birthday. Imagine everyone’s surprise when he's still alive now at 14. The prematurity of his arrival in the world has had a negative impact on his health though. Any new disease comes out and you can bet he's gonna be the one who gets it. Of course this means at home he gets a lot of fuss.
Originally he lived in Tokyo, Japan, but his family moved when he was strong enough to escape the polluted air, moving to Scotland, where his younger sister was born. She never lived in Japan, but his parents made sure she learned Japanese. Although this made his parents happy, they ignored Ru when she was a baby, but when he realised his parents still loved him, he let his jealousy fall away so he too could love the new addition to the family. Till the age of 11 he was home schooled. After 11 he went to St Josephs, however he was ill a lot. His parents decided to send him to Brannigans to nurture him, but also because St Josephs refused to let him repeat 4th year, something which he urgently needed to do due to developing a bad chest infection that eventually developed into bronchitis just after he'd started his fourth year. Seriously ill he had no choice but to miss his fourth year out totally apart from a few weeks. And our story begins as he enters Brannigans
Roleplay Sample: (Okay, this is taken from the middle of a thread I did with another character and it’s starting a plotline off. Not this particular post, but the thread. And no the plot isn’t them dying their hair XD)
Kal blushed, unused to compliments, but inside she was beaming with pleasure. She thought Sailor could probably carry it off better than herself. No, not probably, definitely. For some reason Kal had never drudged up the courage to try, even though a spell could probably get rid of it if she wanted. It was probably for while it was there, the surprised looks of people, how uncharacteristic it apparently was of the shy quiet Hufflepuff. It wasn’t that she cared what people thought, it was that she wouldn’t like the attention it could bring. Okay, it was probably what people thought. When Kal was with her friends she didn’t care what people thought of her, but when she was alone... She thingyed her head to the left, her hair falling like a waterfall in front of her eyes. “Dunno if it would match the colour of the rest of my hair,” she smiled. It was brow. Brown went with just about anything. She looked at Sailor carefully “You could get away with anything,” she told her, then her lips twitched into a smile “Though probably not with going bald. Nothing wrong with bal people, but you jsut wouldn’t look right without hair!”
Kal laughed “I’m sure you’ll find someone you can laugh louder. One day you’ll hear a big booming laugh and follow it to its origins and there’ll be your dream boat! And when people ask how you two met you could say: ‘I followed the laughter!’, and then you could get locked up. And this is your life as I prophesise!” she stuck her tongue out, thinking how she’d regret it if it turned out to be true. “Besides,” she said “You look silly even when you don’t laugh!” an impish grin spread across her face. She couldn’t remember last time she was like this.
“So, Sailor Scout Promise, huh?” she teased gently “Parents trying to make a phrase?” Then again, she couldn’t laugh. If it weren’t for the internet baby names site she’d checked she would have been sure her parents thought up her name on the spot. “No, but honestly, they’re good name and depict honour, mine means Darling,” Kal rolled her eyes. “Honestly, when the girls of my primary school figured that out it was ‘Kalila DAHR-LING,’ This and ‘Aren’t you a Darling!’” she giggled That was before i Knew I was a witch. Set one of their hairs on fire to get them to shut up.” There was nothing wrong with having your name meaning something like ‘Darling’, it was just the way people reacted to it that was annoying. Most people were fine, but you did get those few who were just looking for something about you to tease without seemingly openly teasing you. “And if I borrowed then,” she added “You’d never see them again. Well, you’d see them when they cried or did something bad, but the rest of the time,” she shook her head still grinning. “Wow, I’m so totally gunna be the parent who gives my kid to my partner when they cry or something, and I’ll be there when it’s all happy.” She thingyed her head to the side, realising how the word ‘totally’ has really Americanised her speech. Then again, it wouldn’t really have sounded that good without it. “Still, you’r brother and sister sound cool. You must miss them.” Yet again, stating the obvious. Then again, sometimes it was the natural thing to do.
“Ah, so you’re quite eclectic in your music taste,” Kal nodded. She too was in a way, but it seemed to be a lot more narrower than Sailors. She more liked bands and singers then genres. For instance, she liked Shania Twain, but she didn’t like lots of other country, though to be honest, she hadn’t really heard much wizarding music. She always promised herself she would, but then she didn’t have a chance for a while, and when she did she didn’t feel like listening to it. IT wasn’t like it was something she needed and she had her heart set on, so it would be harder to conjure up the room or requirement to listen. Besides, that would be abusing the room and taking it for granted. Not that it had feelings. “I will dedicate all my spare moments to writing music for you – or copying it from someone famous, then writing a sonnet to go with it, then I shall climb up until I reach your window, which will probably then be slammed closed in my face my your dorm mates,” she sighed mockingly, making it seem like she was being seriously romantic, but then ruined it by grinning
